How Do I Measure For My New String? My preferred measurement is actual string length, as it can vary some between bows. Going by AMO bow length is not reliable.
How Long Will I Have to Wait? That depends on how far behind I am. I try to get orders shipped quick, but it can vary depending on how many orders I have, if I have a show, etc. Contact me before ordering to get an approximate wait time. Usually a week or less.
I ship every string with a length of nock tying thread, plenty for two nock sets. Check out this Nock tying video
If there are any specifics you would like to add, but don't see a space for, i.e. number of strands, length of serving, serving placement, loop size, extra loop padding, etc., let me know. Just send me an e-mail. I will be happy to try to accommodate special requests (within reason). If you aren't sure, just call or e-mail. When I say "custom", I mean it.

X-99 is a blend of 20% Vectran, 80% SK99 Dyneema - Patented Construction. Approximately 1/2 the diameter of Dynaflight '97. Recommended strands is 24. Works great for most draw weights. Excellent durability, very low stretch or creep even in high temperatures, very quiet. Made from the highest quality Dyneema available.
A vocal few have made claims about blended materials, but present no verifiable evidence. I only know of one bowyer who's warranty is affected if you use a blended material. If you have any questions just let me know.
